I’m feeling pretty on top of things after recapping our latest trip, so I thought I would continue with my forward momentum and throw up another post. That’s right. Two in one week. I need a nap now.

Moving along. Life has been a bit fast paced with visitors and traveling so we are looking forward to enjoying a slow weekend. I might even finish a cup of coffee! I’m also hoping to talk Taylor into picking up a few pumpkins and mums from Home Depot. (Hint hint if you’re reading this, Taylor!) I’m not even a little bit ashamed to admit how much I love fall. The crisp weather, the sweaters, the colors. I only wish it lasted a few weeks longer.
While gathering links for this post I realized how quickly the internet moves. Some of the things I wanted to post aren’t even relevant anymore! (Or all news stories are currently covering an event that I don’t wish to touch with a 10 foot pole!)
Remember when I was gung-ho on reading again? Well, that lasted approximately two books before I lost the will to open another book. I know it only takes one good book to get back in the game so I’m keeping my eyes peeled.
While the fall shows were on break this summer, I got all caught up on my Netflix list. I checked off Parenthood and the first two seasons of Jane the Virgin (which I’m super pumped about watching when it returns in a couple of weeks). I’m currently re-watching Gilmore Girls in preparation for THE event. (I may have even switched teams this time around!)
I’m pretty pumped about this news from the Fantastic Beasts front. I’m hoping the new series doesn’t let my Harry Potter forever heart down.
My closet style has changed a bit over the past couple of years and I’m finally starting to let go of quite a few pieces. I recently donated my very first pair of skinny jeans and laughed at my 21 year old self for thinking people were NUTS for wearing them. Other trends I’ve party pooped before jumping on board include kimonos, white converse, booties, tall boots, and ok fine, everything else in my closet. I did hang on to a pair of flares hoping they would come back in. I think we’re almost there.
Ok, that’s all I have. I hope your weekend is filled with all of your favorite things!
