So, remember last week when I was all “I’m going to start blogging again?” Good times. And then my web hosting had a snafu and the blog went down the day before my weekly backup and I lost all of my published posts/drafts from last week. I had preblogged five sessions and like three other fun posts and I guess I just got too cocky about my preparedness. Because now they’re gone and I’m not sure if it’s worth the effort to republish them. I also didn’t even realize it until my scheduled Facebook post went up and someone was like…”uh, this link doesn’t work.” Hashtag on top of things.
Until I get my act together for next week, enjoy these random links from the internet:
I STILL get teary eyed watching this clip.
I’m on a diaper bag backpack hunt. Is there a perfect one that doesn’t look like a diaper bag or cost a million doll hairs? I bought this one at Marshall’s and I think I might stick with it. Let me know if you have other suggestions!
Y’all. Postpartum hair loss is going to be the death of me. I just bought one of these (I had forgotten how much I love them!) to use as a carpet pregame so that I don’t break our vacuum again with the hair. Taylor has suggested a hair net around the house and I’m almost ready to admit that it isn’t the worst idea ever.
If you follow me or Taylor on Snapchat, you’ll know that we just started watching (and recapping – sorry in advance) the Bachelor/ette and most recently Bachelor in paradise. It’s a lot of fun, but now I’m kind of obsessed with past couples (specifically Sean and Catherine) so I checked out a few Bachelor-authored books from the library. It’s fun to get a peek behind the scenes!
We kicked cable to the curb right after Paul was born and while most shows are on summer hiatus, we haven’t felt like we were missing out on anything. That is, until I remembered that no cable = no HGTV this fall. One of the shows I’m most sad about missing out on live is Home Town. I LOVE Erin’s aesthetic and the way she infuses a couple’s history into their current home.
Remember that capsule wardrobe mania from last year? (Or was it the year before? I can’t tell time anymore.) This blog was kind of the start of it and while we don’t share the exact same style, it has kind of reshaped how I approach shopping and getting dressed. I tend to look for more staples that can mix and match as well as transition through different seasons.
And that’s all! There were going to be 10 on my list, but this has now stretched over two nap times so..I’m tapping out.
I hope your weekend is magical!
